Hi Community đź‘‹
When we say “Don’t spectate, participate” — that applies to us too.
At short notice, we decided to tackle a community problem: the “Burning Bush” on Mervyn Drive, which has already caused a few near-accidents. We started trimming it with limited resources, but there’s still more work to do.
A big thank you to everyone who drove past and encouraged us in the blistering heat, those who dropped off cool drinks, and those who stopped to chat — it was really good meeting some of you face-to-face.
âś… Next clean-up session
Next Saturday | 08:00–10:00
🧤 How you can help
• Come assist for an hour or two (cutting/trimming and loading), or
• Send your gardener for 2 hours with the right tools
🔧 Tools that help (if you have)
Hedge trimmer, brush cutter, pruning saw, loppers, gloves, rake
đźšš Transport needed
We need at least 3 bakkies to load and remove the cuttings. We’re taking it to the Bellair dump, and because it’s limited to one bakkie load per day, we need multiple vehicles to get it done efficiently.

If you’d like to participate, please DM the admins so we can coordinate numbers, tools, and bakkies.
Let’s work together and get this done quicker. As we’ve said many times: no one else is going to take ownership unless we do.
