Due to recent increases in theft within the area, this document provides preliminary information about implementing camera installations at key locations throughout the neighbourhood. These measures are intended to deter crime from our area and making us less susceptible to theft, home invasions and particularly violence and death. At the time of writing this document there has been 18+ incidents in 6 weeks. Please read our detailed Guide for those wanting to get onboard with us.

On Thursday 24 October 2025, we hosted our first WhatsApp Q&A session. Approximately 40 people Joined in to chat and ask questions about the CCTV Initiative. Important questions were asked on how we can achieve security across or community. The Watsin, Memorial Park and Seaview Communities were invited to work together to implement this accross our Neighbourhoods, so that security for all can be achieved through this proved deterrent.
